Registration for events

The website enables the user to register for events, which are organized by Rebel or third parties, e.g. for the e-miglia 2011. In order to register, the user has to state his/her own personal data, as well as those of his/her passenger/co-driver. These are in particular:

With the registration for the e-miglia 2011, the user therefore consents to a delivery of those personal data and photos, which were submitted in connection with his/her registration to the following organizer and his event office:

The e-mail address which was stated for the driver at registration, will only be used by Rebel to supply information regarding events of Rebel or those they (co-)organize, including the mailing of newsletters, if you explicitly agreed to receive e-mails from Rebel by clicking on the respective box during registration.

A distribution of such e-mails to the co-driver’s e-mail address given at registration will in no way occur.

You can at any time object to having information and newsletters sent to you by Rebel. In that case, please send a corresponding e-mail to:

Cookies

Rebel utilizes so called cookies. These are small text data sets, which the website of Rebel sends to the browser of the user and which are filed to their PCs, in order to be stored there as an anonymous user name.

Purpose of these cookies is e.g. to identify a user as legitimate during the use of the Rebel website. Without this temporary “intermediate storage “, already executed entries would have to be repeated for some applications. A cookie only contains the data, a server puts out or/and the user supplies upon request (e.g. set-up, information regarding the domain, path, expiration date, cookie name and value). So they contain purely technical information, no personal data. A cookie can’t data-mine a hard drive.

Should a user desire it, the storage of cookies via the web browser can be rejected in general or in individual cases. A non-acceptance of cookies can however result in some pages not being displayed correctly.

Circulation of personal data to third parties

Rebel only circulates user data to third parties or transfers such data to third parties, when this is necessary to execute a contract, in particular within the scope of a registration for an event, or if the user has explicitly agreed to this, or if Rebel is legally bound to do so.

Right to information, correction and deletion

You can obtain information about the personal data Rebel has stored of you, and you can demand their correction or deletion at any time. Rebel will delete your personal data upon your request, unless the data is imperative for Rebel to fulfill a contract (e.g. enabling your participation in an event) or Rebel legally obligated to store these.

Should you request information on the data Rebel has stored on you, its correction or deletion, please contact Rebel Marketing GmbH, Schlesische Straße 27, 10997 Berlin, Tel: +49 (0)30 – 23255450, Fax: +49 (0)30 – 232554516.

Final provisions

Rebel is entitled to update this data privacy protection statement at any time.
