e-miglia 2010 - The new rally for electrically powered vehicles.

This summer, the e-miglia is getting ready for her first big run and is taking rally drivers, their teams, manufacturers and spectators likewise on a great adventure.

The e-miglia combines the style and legend of classic rally events with the technology of the future. Already 101 years ago, street rallys, such as the Targa Florio, the Mille Miglia or the Rally Monte Carlo demanded everything from man and machine. Since then the automobile industry has performed a lot of development and pioneer work.

Offroad Solutions is now calling for the first e-miglia with a clear purpose:

"A rally to show the world how capable & appealing e-mobility is already."

This new, green mobility isn´t only healthier for our environment, but it´s also fun, exciting and dynamic.

A total of 560 km have to be accomplished during the e-miglia 2010 ,with daily ranges of up to 170 km. Demanding sections, such as mountain stages and daily special stages will constantly challenge driver and vehicle.

The e-miglia feature evaluation categories for electrical vehicles with 2, 3 or 4 wheels.
Over a period of four days, from August 3rd through the 6th, 2010, it leads through the breathtakingly beautiful natural and mountainous landscapes of the Central Alps, thereby crossing the borders of Germany, Austria & Italy, as well as visiting the countries" capital, in which a fringe program offers the spectators education and entertainment.

Besides many honorary prizes, the overall winner receives a trophy money of € 10.000.-.
